November 1 – The DNR has announced Fred Souba, Jr. as Wisconsin’s new Chief State Forester.  Souba will also serve as the administrator for the DNR’s Division of Forestry.  He comes to the DNR with 40 years of industry experience, most recently as the owner and Senior Consultant at ProVision Forestry, LLC.  Read more
